Currently it's not possible to reuse a previously created vehicle combination for a different route section.
However you can use the same vehicle combination for simulating different driving maneuvers at the same route section. To do so, you can use the clone function:
You then get an identical clone of the simulation and can modify the copied version as you need it (e.g. by exchanging the cargo, by changing the steering settings or by removing an obstacle from the route section).
You can also rename this version by clicking the pencil icon.
The bottom left corner of the screen lists the different versions, so that you can switch between them easily.
