HeavyGoods calculates single axle loads for semi-tractors with up to 6 axles.
To do this, the user can create their own tractor units that have axle load data or use ready-made semi tractors from the growing catalog.
A semi-tractor is created via the Management - Vehicles menu and then the blue Add vehicle button.
The Calculate axle loads checkbox must be selected in the Usage section.
Use the Axles section to provide the empty axle loads and permissible axle loads. Axles can be assigned to the front or rear support circle. If required, an axle can also be configured with a load limiter that distributes any overloads to the other axles in the support circle:
Finally use your semi-tractor in a vehicle combination and HeavyGoods will calculate the axle loads for your individual load case:
