Prepare cargo
Make sure that your load has two support points, see screenshot:
Create vehicle combination
Assemble your vehicle combination as usual.
Determine bending moments
Click on the “Axle loads” tab in the vehicle combination.
You will see a load indicator under the semi-trailer or trailer in the form of a colored bending moment bar. The load indicator shows the points at which the vehicle can withstand the load and axle load forces.
Click on the blue info (i) next to the bending moment bar to display the following color legend:
Detect overloads
If the vehicle is overloaded at one or more points, the bending moment bar turns red at these points. The greatest load is also displayed as a red value in percent:
Availability
The calculation of bending moments is part of the HeavyGoods load package. It is currently only available for vehicles that Goldhofer has provided digitally or that you have assembled yourself in the vehicle construction kit from vehicle modules provided by Goldhofer (e.g. THP modules).
Please note: If Goldhofer has already released digital vehicles to you before 2025, these may not yet have the functions for calculating bending moments. If necessary, please contact the manufacturer directly to update the according vehicle records.
