The build kit for modular vehicles is an exclusive Goldhofer feature which allows you to quickly assemble vehicles from individual THP modules. You can then use these vehicles for simulating transports and calculating axle loads in HeavyGoods.
Assemble your modular vehicle
It's easy to assemble a modular vehicle in HeavyGoods:
Populate your build kit with our example modules by clicking on Management - Modules - Add module - Add example modules [Only applies, if you don't have any modules yet]
Click on Administration - Vehicles - Add vehicle - Assemble vehicle
Select the desired vehicle modules and see your new modular vehicle appear piece by piece on the screen.
Select the number of axles that belong to the front hydraulic support circuit. This is important for calculating the axle loads.
Select the steering: The correct steering for your modular vehicle
Click "Save" to save your modular vehicle for the future.
Use and fine tune your modular vehicle
Once you saved your modular vehicle, you can use it to calculate axle loads or simulate swept paths (see Create a vehicle combination). In order to fine-tune your modular vehicle, you don't need to return to the vehicle administration again and again. As a shortlink, HeavyGoods shows an Edit button directly at your loaded modular vehicle. Click it for quickly exchanging a module or adding an extra module. This allows you to easily find the module combination that is optimally suited for your transport.
Add more digital vehicle modules to your account
The vehicle construction kit is delivered with several example modules with which you can test the building kit directly. If you want to order further digital vehicle modules from Goldhofer, simply click on Management - Modules - Add module - Request module. As soon as Goldhofer has entered the desired modules for you, they will automatically appear in your HeavyGoods inventory.
